when the video isn't centered just right click in the blank white area, then choose "This Frame" from the drop down, and the click "Show Only This Frame" and it will load up a new page with only the video, and it should be centered (always is for me). It's simple!
Ah side note; I am using Firefox.If you are using a different browser it may not work this way, though I imagine it would be something similar.
