The funny thing about this is that the Simpsons generally misrepresents every country or group that it makes fun of, but the producers say that for some reason the Brazilians are the most offended by the episode featuring their country. I hope they don't think that the episodes about other countries and groups accurately portray those countries and groups. That would just be sad.

who cares matt groening has basically nothing to do with the show. he made the original tracy ullman stuff, and named the charecters, thats really all. he got lucky to get good writers who took the show in the direction it went, and he's been putting his name everywhere ever since.
