Moe's beloved bar rag, loomed as an ornate medieval tapestry, recounts its millennium-spanning life story. And when the rag goes missing, the supposedly friendless Moe realizes that he has more friends than he thought. Meanwhile, Bart begs Milhouse for forgiveness after they get into a fight.

I disagree with the negative comments. This was a fun episode, I love the parodies from history and literature, like the one where Lisa is Scheherazade from "One Thousand and One Nights." I think only people who like history and literature can appreciate an episode like this...I guess most viewers aren't sophisticated.

I actually liked the idea of the Bart/ Milhouse plot– it had potential to return to some of the simpler plots we love from older seasons and explore something we all have dealt with, working on a friendship.

and not impressed that the second part was an Arabian Nights parody. and the Bart b-story was a little weak.
however i thought this was a good episode for moe even though he really didn't feature in it very much. i particularly liked the way he was drawn into the rag's tale.
