1206 The Computer Wore Menace ShoesTimes Watched: 570572Comments: 61Rating:
After realizing that he's missing the cyberspace boat, Homer plugs into the internet and builds a web site. But when low traffic hits him where it hurts, he resorts to spicing up his cyberslab with damaging gossip concerning fellow townsfolk. Guest starring Patrick McGoohan as Prisoner #6.
In fact, Lisa HAS a computer already.
4:45 Man, I miss when the internet was like this.
5:19 Still better than social networking crap!
5:35 No it isn't. It's on the internet for all the public to see.
5:38 Wrong again, Lisa. Funny attitude from her, considering she's usually complaining about corporate conglomerates.
6:00 So? There wasn't anything to DO on the internet in those days. And that's the way we LIKED it.
6:07 That isn't actually offering people anything.
6:32 What in the fuck's wrong with her? There's loads of bullshit, and people still promote Google search. Where does she get these opinions from?
7:12 Sure there is! 9`n'6
7:48 Good lord! Everyone knows it's a crime for elected officials to own a swimming pool!
8:27 You have to be licensed to be a news anchor? I don't believe it.
Ireland is weird.
spanish and italian are pretty close. i knew italian first and when i learned spanish i kept on gettin confused.
could also be that im stupid but, whatever.
@A Guest Homer is often gone at days at a time which can be a result of his extreme problem with alcohol or his strange obsessions he frequently gets which are often shown In many episodes
e.g. He obsesses over making money from grease, He obsesses over winning a bowling ball game, he obsesses over T.V., need i go on?
And in an episode you hear one of the family say that they are used to him being gone for days at a time and the whole "German Homer" is just to add a comedy slant to the episode otherwise a lot of the younger audience would tune out if there was little comedic skits or scenes instead of just a pure story line.
And you perhaps shouldn't criticize the writing of the show because majority of the writers or people who contribute to the script of the show are above the average intellect of the world for example there was Conan 'O' Brien who used to write for earlier episodes, Joel Cohen who often writing the complex equations often seen in Futurama so perhaps you should think about what you say.
