In the sequel to the original Treehouse of Horror, three more tales of horror. Lisa, Bart, and Homer eat too much candy, and end up having nightmares...: In “The Monkey's Paw,” the Simpsons, on a foreign trip, pick up a monkey's paw that gives the holder four wishes each with bad side effects. Next, In a parody of a classic Twilight Zone episode, everyone in Springfield must be happy or else something will happen to them by a monster. The monster is known as Bart Simpson, the kid with the mental powers. in “Bart the Monster”. Finally, Homer gets randomly fired from the nuclear power plant, and gets hired as a gravedigger. He falls asleep in the grave, and gets picked up by Mr. Burns for a cyborg experiment in “Homer's Brain.”

I can't believe the dreams had a relatively happy ending, i was expecting someone to die or something like that. It just shows how the Simpsons has evolved. There's another early episode where Bart and Todd have a golf competition and they end up calling it a draw so that there wouln't be a loser. the stories have changed from 'the moral of the story' type to random endings and completely immoral characters, but i'm not complaining, i love it! Its the one place where i can laugh if someone's head gets severed or someone experiances terrible misfortune.
I loved brat's dream though, Homer looked so cool as a jack-in-the-box!

Bart can make any wish come true. Nancy Cartwright, who does the voice of Bart Simpson, played Ethel in Twilight Zone: The Movie. Ethel is wished away into cartoon land by the boy who can make any wish come true. Both of these episodes are similar and pay homage to an old Twilight Zone episode, "It's a Good Life."
