It is a very stereotyped vision of Rio de Janeiro but i think we cannot blame it for it... you don't see a lot of monkeys and snakes on the street but that is ok... The funny thing about this is that the Simpsons generally misrepresents every country or group that it makes fun of, but the producers say that for some reason the Brazilians are the most offended by the episode featuring their country. I hope they don't think that the episodes about other countries and groups accurately portray those countries and groups. That would just be sad.
