This episode was aired on may 17th - Norways national holiday :D Thanks Groening!!! I especially liked the part were Homer gets drunk on Aqua vitae, or akkevitt as we call it in Norway. No one that has ever been near that stuff'll ever attempt to drink it from a pint glass :P I guess Homer learned it the hard way :P

Admin, may I make a suggestion? We should be able to "report comment" because some of the comments are downright spamful and/or needless and I don't want to see the comments get closed down again.

The episode itself was okay.

@SimpsonsLiker there's no objective truth when it comes to taste. Being a huge fan of the show myself, I felt that the episode uses loads of the tricks that made seasons 7 and 8 so good. Also it brings back the satirical element. That has been pretty much missing for the three last seasons. A pretty good episode in my book.

I'm not sure how many more morons I can take saying "This episode was awesome/great etc", this was a pretty bad episode, you people clearly don't know what constitutes a good Simpsons episode, go back and watch some season 3-8 episodes and then you'll know.

@mmeikol The song is called Death of Aase and is from Peer Gynt by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg.

Loved the episode, a great gesture to Norway on it's constitution day
