Of course freedom of expression is essential, but what happens while all the good and honest people of society work their hearts out for the next generations' benefit? Someone will feed off their success, and put themselves in a position of power. There is no such thing as 100 percent dedication in society, as much as we would like it. And anyway, capitalism in it's pure form is essentially the best system available, it has merely been corrupted by the same kind of people that, in a communist system, would be calling themselves dictators. Luckily, with capitalism, they are limited to at most a small monopoly.

Think about it.
Any problem, be it historical, or personal, which was human originated.
It's root is always hurt feelings.
The solution is simple : we have to talk about our feelings freely and openly.
This episode makes the case that if people do exactly as they feel they will fall into sloth and laziness and society (and ferris wheels) will explode into flames and go rolling down the street.
...that's a pretty misanthropic view of humanity.
I take a more positive view.
Human beings are naturally hard working, noble and loving, IF, their life is one of respect, stimulation and family love.
Free expression of feelings IS the solution to all of humanity's problems, as long as it is done in a society which dedicates itself >>> 100 Percent <<< to cultivating strong, well educated, loving people.

Prostituting resources by placing a monetary value on them is NOT conducive to a species maturing.
You've got to trust that people will work hard and use only the resources they need and that society will function on the "honor system".
